Last Days in New York

Well, Jared has finally finished all his tests and now we are just packing up to move. We have made a list of things we want to go do before we leave. One of the things we are doing is making a video tour for Ava so that later she cann look at it and see where she lived. We started today by taking my old trek down to the financial district. I showed them my daily commute going from the 6 train to the 4/5 express to Bowling Green. We ate some tasty Cuban food from Sophie's and went to Battery Park. We went and saw 55 Broad Street and then 17 State Street, both buildings where I worked for Platform Learning. It was really fun to be down in that area of town again. It's beautiful down there, and it was a fun place to work....for the most part!

55 Broad Street and The New York Stock Exchange

17 State Street

Waiting in line with all the crazy tourists; Nancy and Ava by the Stock Exchange Bull

It took Ava a minute to warm up to playing in the fountain. Then she decided it was pretty fun.

Then she decided it was REALLY fun!

A view from Battery Park.
