I would like to re-introduce the newest member of our family....
ELSA BETH JOHNSON
Yes, we've decided to change her name. Hopefully no one will be too traumatized by this change. So far, Elsa doesn't know what's going on and Ava mostly calls her "Baby" anyway, so it's up to the rest of us to be able to pull it off. We're really excited and happy about the name change. Elsa has been a long-time favorite for us both and Beth is after Jared's mom. So, no more changes between now and Blessing Day in November....We hope!

congratulations on the new baby you guys!!!! that's so exiting! don't worry, erika changed maddie's name last minute too! haha. so, i love your blog. did you know that we have a site? its http://web.mac.com/pease.pod and we have a blog on the site if you want to check it out, and leave comments!!! love you and hope to see you soon!
hahahahahahah...I'm laughing thinking of the stories you told about your family changing names constantly. Apple doesn't fall too far! jks. Love the name though...sounds kind of like elise. Beautiful little girl...way to go!
WHAT? I definitely was not expecting this! Love the name though...and she is just beautiful.
you have my blessing. at least you named her and have been calling her something at all. bromley's cousin waited until the blessing (2 months after birth) to give the baby a name. i think that might be a little much. hope all is well. she's pretty darn cute. i think i should come visit you and meet her ;)
I love that name. Very unique, just like her mom!!
Wha--? What happened? I loved Elise! Elsa is far more original though and the pretty name fits such a very pretty lady! Beth is a family name on our side, too. Love it!!! Simple, classic, perfect.
Too funny Nancy, yeah, I first named my 2nd daughter Maddie Jane, and then decided to change it to Madeline, so, not a big change, but a change nonetheless. And, my friend changed her daughter's name too, so it's not too rare. I figure, you can change it with the state and the USA, but once it's been said in sacrament meeting, then it's in stone! Congrats again! She is beautiful! P.S. Did you get this outfit and Janie and Jack? Because I work there!
I love that name! Don't worry about changing it-my sister-in-law did the same thing and we can't picture our niece by the other name now. It's meant to be! She is BEAUTIFUL!
Shocked! I love it though. More pictures of Elsa please!
Hmmm, I tuned in to meet the gorgeous little one as Elsa... love the name, by the way. I had to scroll back to find out what it originally was! :) Hey, you're still safe to change it... one of my brothers had four different names before he was blessed. Elsa is a good companion for big-sis Ava. Best to you all!!
I haven't been blogging in so long...Elsa is the cutest name and cutest baby ever! Coming from me (the official name changer) sometimes you just have to do what feels right and not worry about it. Did we ever tell you that our son's official name is Owen Ryder Ala? We still call him Ryder though. It just felt right to have his first name be Owen. Miss you and Love ya. Congrats!
Nancy,
Congratulations!!! I came across your blog and I was so thrilled to see your beautiful family!! It looks like everything is going well and Elsa and Ava are so so beautiful! Well I hope you love having 2 as much as I have!! But I have to say I am jealous you are getting ava potty trained so quickly...I need pointers. Well love ya and it was great to see your blog!!! love Julie Nelson Richards! julieannrichards@hotmail.com
