Today was absolutely unbelievable weather! We ran over to Ocean Park Beach to get in some sun, sand and surf. This was Elsa's first trip to the beach in her swimming suit and she loved it!!!
Today was a momentous day for Ava. She threw her binki into the deep blue sea and now Nemo has it and is taking turns with Dori. Even the daddy fishy gets a turn now and then. This is an act that has been many weeks in the making and has been practiced time and time again in the living room.
CONGRATULATIONS AVA! YOU'RE TWO AND BINKI FREE!Happy little Elsa

Nancy! I'm so sad we missed you there! wasn't it the BEST day?! glad you got to go and congrats on the binky! That was tough for Connor!
so jealous Nancy. Swimming at the beach in February, you lucky girlies!
I am going to guess that you were NOT missing NYC that day. The girls are just adorable and I can't believe you are at the beach in the middle of Feb. Can I please move to CA asap?
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, AVA-DEAR! Happy days will come to you all year! If I had one wish then it would be, a happy happy birthday to you from me. :) (Can you tell I serve in Primary now?) Thanks for all the great pics on your blog, lady! Those kids are crazy-cute! Like, probably some of the cutest kidlets in the history of the world! I can't get enough! Come up to Monterey so I can make my cupcakes for your cupcakes! And, nice job on the binki toss-- that's a creative one that I'll have to remember.
Oh my goodness your girls are cute. Wow- I was wearing a parka and freezing today :) I just wanted to say a belated Happy B-day to Ava!!! I love her so and miss her. Hope we can see you guys again soon :)
Hi! You do not know me, I am just a fellow blogger. I noticed this post and just couldn't help smiling when I read about your daughter Ava giving her binki to the fishes. My parents did the same thing with me when it was time for me to give up the binki! I thought for sure no one else did that. Brilliant! I hope it is okay that I referenced your blog on my own. If not, please let me know. I of course didn't take any of your pictures or use names but I just thought it was so cute that you had her share her binki. My blog is http://simplyelegant-k.blogspot.com/. Feel free to visit. Thanks!
