The girls started school today. They were both very excited to start! I asked Ava if she wanted me to drive her to school and she said that she wanted to ride the bus. I drove down to the school to meet her teacher and to make sure she found her way to class ok. I asked if she was doing okay and she kind of waved me off and said, "I'm fine Mom. I already have a friend!" I love that!
Then, for the next 3 hours Elsa was bugging me and bugging me about going to school. She was attending an all-day Kindergarten and she feels like she got demoted back to Preschool with her half-day Kinder. She was so funny just waiting and waiting to go to school. When I drove her to school she sat in the back seat as cool and confident as ever. It was so funny to meet her classmates! As we were walking up, one kid said, "Are you new?" Elsa said, "Yes." Then he turned to the crowd yelling, "Hey everybody! We have a new girl! Look at the new girl!" Elsa kind of loved it.
