Accident-Free for 1 Day....And Counting!

Even more exciting than the news about an earthquake (in my opinion) is the news that Ava had a 100% accident-free day today! Now, if you want to be really impressed, you should know that today included a trip to the gym, the bank and the grocery store consecutively with no incidents! AHHHH!!! It's enough to make a mother cry and swell with pride!

And an unrelated side-note... Our Ralph's has a shopping cart that has a plastic car hanging off the front to keep kids entertained thinking they're driving while completely humiliating the mother that has to push an extra 4 feet worth of shopping cart around.... Today was our maiden voyage in one of these carts. I usually put Elsa in the seat and Ava in the big part where I pile food on top of her. Anyway, this happened to be a two-seater car with two steering wheels, so I thought the girls would really have a lot of fun in there. As Spence Olchen would say, Au Contraire Mon Freirre! Ava basically tortured Elsa the whole time! Why is this?! And when did I become the mother pushing screaming kids around the store? And most of all, how do I regain one single shred of dignity as a human being in a grocery store?!

Oh yes, my girls do the same thing. I took them biking once in a bike trailer and vowed never to do it again. Sometimes it's just better to seperate them...
Hope you guys are doing well! Drop me a line sometime!

Loved your post! I used one of these for Ryder here in ABQ and now he won't ride in a regular cart. It is quite embarressing pushing those around...but, I know exactly how you feel when Ryder is screaming in the store. But, we have to shop and are basically single moms so what do we do!? :)

Yes, thank you Ralph's for providing the goofiest carts that we have no choice but to push our children in! I think I'm switching over to Vons...
